If you've ever watched or attended a San Diego Padres game, you know the name Sycuan.

The local casino resort's partnership with the team dates back nearly a quarter-century, when the native Kumeyaay band (pronounced koo-me-eye) became the first tribal government in the country to sponsor a Major League club.

Growing since its dedication in 1990, Sycuan recently completed a $260M expansion which includes a AAA Four Diamond steakhouse from Las Vegas-based Clique Hospitality, a full-service spa, pool complex, event space, and 60,000 square feet of additional gaming. The centerpiece of this new development is a 12-story luxury hotel tower with over 350 guest rooms and suites.

It's in this tower that the Padres hotel suite debuted.

Showcasing a truly one-of-a-kind baseball theme, this exclusive room features custom furniture and décor, a turf wall, limited-edition artwork, and Padres memorabilia autographed by star third baseman Manny Machado.

It even comes stocked with complimentary peanuts and Cracker Jack!

“Every detail and design in our Padres-themed suite was to create the exciting feeling of being at a baseball game at Petco Park,” said Cody J. Martinez, chairman, Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation.

To emphasize this authenticity, yours truly, the Voice of Petco Park, was brought on to record the VO for the suite's TV commercial, which airs during Padres games on flagship FOX Sports San Diego (now Bally Sports San Diego). And judging by the ratings last season, it was seen--and heard--a lot.

Have a listen:

If you can't make it to Petco Park, the Padres hotel suite at Sycuan Casino Resort provides the ultimate experience to root-root-root year-round.

“The next best thing to enjoying a Padres’ game in the front row at Petco Park is to stay in the Padres-themed suite at Sycuan Casino Resort,” said Padres CEO Erik Greupner.

Did I mention the Cracker Jack?
