Alex Miniak is the exclusive voice of Petco Park for the San Diego Padres, and host for events surrounding, and including, the 87th MLB All-Star Game and 2020 American League Postseason.
As one of only thirty Public Address Announcers in Major League Baseball, his work is featured prominently in-stadium, and live across national and regional telecasts on FOX, ESPN, and FOX Sports San Diego.
In 2019, Alex took on the role of PA Announcer in Sony’s MLB The Show franchise for PlayStation, his first foray into video game voice acting.
Prior to joining the Padres, Alex also worked behind the mic for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park in 2012 and enjoyed a 12-year career in radio broadcasting as an on-air and commercial talent with iHeartMedia.
Beyond media, he has worked with celebrities like Kellie Pickler, Vanessa Lachey, and Food Network's Melissa D'Arabian, to host events in major markets for Silk, Stonyfield, and Ben & Jerry's, respectively.
Winner of the prestigious Red Barber Award for broadcasting, Alex is a proud Gator, and graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
